Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to deliver therapeutic services within a multidisciplinary team. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual, family, and group therapy, and coordinate discharge planning.

Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology and at least two years of behavioral health experience; BLS is preferred. Schedule: part-time evenings, Thu-Sat 4:30 p.m.–2:30 a.m. Benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related behavioral health field.
• Minimum two years of behavioral health experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and risk evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based methods.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals within a multidisciplinary team.
• Document accurately and maintain patient privacy per HIPAA.
