Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent required.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.
• Two years' experience in acute or long-term mental healthcare hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses de-escalation techniques to provide nursing care and uses seclusion/restraint when needed.
• Gathers admissions data, screens patient condition on admission, and orients new patients.
• Documents patient condition, vital signs, medications, and interventions; communicates changes to RN and shifts.
