ABS Kids is seeking Behavioral Technicians for the 3:00pm–7:00pm shift in Kearns, UT. The role involves applying ABA strategies, one-on-one support, data collection, and helping children develop life skills.

We welcome everyone from entry-level to experienced RBTs. A $1,000 bonus is offered for current RBTs, with on-the-job training provided. Join our team to make a difference in kids' lives and earn competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• A heart for helping kids.
• A calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness—learn our data collection software and use basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
