Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking Behavior Technicians for the 3:00pm-7:00pm shift in Utah. We offer $18.50-$23.00 per hour with bonuses for current RBTs and paid RBT certification training. Paid drive time, mileage reimbursement, a 401(k) match, and PTO accrue with hours worked.

No experience? We will train you on the job. If you’ve worked as a nanny, teacher, CNA, caregiver, or studied psychology-related fields, you’re already halfway there. Join us to help children achieve brighter futures.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
• Heart for helping kids, calm, steady presence
• Eagerness and energy to play
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
• Tech savviness and ability to learn data collection software and use basic office software

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child using play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social and emotional skills
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly
