Job summary

ReMed, A Collage Rehabilitation Partner in Covington, LA seeks a compassionate Behavior Technician to support adults with brain injuries in daily living, social skills, and vocational goals within a home-like setting.

You will implement client rehabilitation strategies, follow behavioral plans, document progress, and collaborate with the treatment team to promote independence and safety. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; travel up to 20% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driving requirements: Valid driver's license with responsible driving history.
• Physical demands: Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence in daily living, cognitive activities, and vocational skills.
• Implement behavior plans and use positive reinforcement.
• Observe and communicate changes to the treatment team.
• Assist with medication administration as directed.
• Ensure a safe, clean, home-like setting and assist with meals and transportation.
