Study Hotels in Baltimore is seeking a bartender to provide genuine hospitality and high-quality service to guests at Dear Charles, the new culinary offering at The Study at Johns Hopkins. The role supports a vibrant, guest-centered dining experience.

The position is part-time, with availability on Tuesday evenings; additional Server shifts may add hours. Experience in fine dining or upscale casual settings is preferred, and English language proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in fine dining or upscale casual settings preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 40 lbs; flexible shifts incl. evenings/ weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality and customer service to guests.
• Explain menu items, advise on allergies, and maintain knowledge of menu/beverage programs.
• Be a team player and assist others to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Set up and breakdown of sections and perform detailed cleaning of work areas.
• Develop knowledge of traditional cooking, wine, beer, and cocktails.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
