Job summary

Pyramid Roanoke & Conference Center seeks a part-time Evening Banquet Set-Up Attendant to prepare, set up, and breakdown banquet spaces for conferences and events. You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, delivering high-quality guest experiences through meticulous setup and teamwork.

Successful candidates will have prior banquet or event setup experience, strong customer service, and the physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous banquet setup, hospitality, event setup, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including heavy lifting up to 70 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and arrange conference and banquet equipment per event orders.
• Set up and break down banquet rooms, classrooms, ballrooms, and meeting spaces.
• Move convention materials, registration supplies, and event materials across the property.
• Refresh meeting spaces during meals and breaks; assist with guest needs during events.
• Maintain awareness of ongoing events and coordinate with Banquet, Culinary, and Conference Services teams.
