Job summary

Seton Hall University in Newark seeks an LS Audio-Visual Equipment Coordinator (2nd shift) to maintain, repair, and coordinate AV equipment across classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces on the Newark Law School campus. You will train student workers, faculty, administrators, and staff, troubleshoot issues over the phone or in person, and oversee equipment delivery and inventory.

This full-time, nonexempt role features a weekend–weeknight schedule: Sunday 8am–4pm and Monday–Thursday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CTS or AV technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance/Repairs/Installation: Perform preventative maintenance and/or minor repairs to audio visual equipment installed in classrooms, conference rooms, courtrooms, event spaces and other areas of the law school.
• Coordinate equipment delivery/Inventory of equipment: Maintain audio-visual equipment inventory and track equipment delivered throughout law school.
• Troubleshooting: Provide assistance over the phone, through computer and in person to all users of audio-visual technology on issues that may arise in the classroom or in the course of a meeting/conference.
• Provide training to student workers, faculty, administrators, staff and guests on the use of AV technology installed on the law school Newark campus.
• Perform clerical duties, including but not limited to answering the telephone, taking reservations, tracking issues and events, and keeping schedules.
