Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Caldwell Orthopedic Urgent Care is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to work with our orthopedic physicians at Ten Mile and other clinic locations in Boise, Meridian and Nampa. The schedule is 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., with possible Saturday rotations.

You will assess injuries, develop rehab plans, educate patients on prevention, and assist with charting and patient care. A Bachelor's degree and Idaho/Oregon AT licensure, plus BLS, are required; relocation bonus is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Idaho and Oregon licensure within 120 days from hire.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Recognize/triage, evaluate and care for injuries during athletic events or practice.
• Determine functional capacity and level of injury.
• Educate and monitor patient protection to prevent further injury.
• Gather and record injury assessment information accurately.
• Develop rehabilitation or reconditioning plans and counsel on prevention.
• Other duties include charting and assisting with splints/braces/casts.
