Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Caldwell, ID is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for our Ortho Urgent Care at Ten Mile. The anticipated schedule is 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Monday–Friday hours and possible Saturday rotation.

A relocation bonus is available. You will work with orthopedic physicians across clinic locations (Boise, Meridian, Nampa) in an outpatient setting, diagnosing and treating acute injuries and designing rehab programs to restore function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Recognize/triage, evaluate and care for athletic injuries during events or practice.
• Determine the functional capacity to guide activity participation.
• Educate, instruct, apply and monitor measures to protect patients from further injury.
• Gather and accurately record information required in injury assessment.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation or reconditioning programs to restore function.
• Charting, rooming patients, and assisting in applying splints/braces/casts.
