Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer for our Orthopedic Urgent Care in Caldwell, ID. You will work with orthopedic physicians and clinical staff in an outpatient setting, assisting in injuries evaluation, treatment, and rehab while coordinating care across multiple clinic locations.

The role includes travel to Boise and Meridian facilities with a relocation bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Licensure in primary state; secondary licensure Idaho or Oregon within 120 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA/ARC or Military Training Network at hire if ACLS/PALS not current.

Responsibilities

• Recognize/triage, evaluate and care for injuries and illness during athletic events or practice.
• Determine functional capacity and participation eligibility.
• Educate, instruct, apply and monitor injury prevention measures.
• Record all information required in injury assessment.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation or reconditioning plans and counsel on injury prevention.
