Job summary

Sheetz is seeking an Assistant Manager of Hospitality to support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team. You will influence staffing, resolve customer concerns, and uphold our hospitality standards across all shifts.

In this role you will ensure operations run smoothly behind the scenes, monitor end-of-day processes, and drive unit profitability while maintaining guest-focused service and store presentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two-year degree in a business related field preferred.
• Certification testing (e.g., ServeSafe) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Back up the Store Manager with recruitment, selection, training, and performance management.
• Have a say in staff scheduling and who works when.
• Handle customer questions, complaints and concerns.
• Ensure staff compliance with Sheetz policies and programs.
• Respond to QA audits, secret shops, and customer service feedback.
• Maintain hospitality standards, store cleanliness, and timely customer transactions.
• Oversee end-of-day tasks to ensure completion.
• Keep shelves stocked with proper placement, pricing, and restocking.
• Lead profit management through shrink indicators, stock audits, and vendor coordination.
