Job summary

Sycamore Springs is seeking a Coordinator to assess walk-in and phone referrals and arrange psychiatric assessments for patients seeking treatment of substance use, dual diagnosis or emotional disorders. You will triage and refer patients, scheduling initial assessments and ensuring a smooth admission process.

Essential functions include clerical support to the Care Coordination Manager, maintaining stock of forms, processing consent and admission paperwork, and coordinating with other units as

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric health care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
• CPR certification and CPI within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals and schedule initial psychiatric assessments.
• Assist in scheduling and admitting patients to treatment.
• Provide clerical support to the Care Coordination Manager and team.
• Maintain stock of paperwork/forms and supplies for the department.
• Schedule appointments for incoming assessments and orient patients to units and programs.
