Job summary

Alfa Laval in Richmond, VA is hiring an Assembly Operator to put together components, following standard operating procedures and blueprints in a fast-paced production setting. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork as you use hand and power tools to meet daily targets.

You will perform quality checks, document processes, and participate in 5S routines with a focus on Kaizen improvements. Shift is Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with overtime on weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate accurate and consistent use of PPE (Safety Glasses, Steel Toes, Gloves) and follow SOPs.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints/instructions.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adhere to quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using hand and power tools according to SOPs and blueprints.
• Perform quality checks and document processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S standards.
