Job summary

Alfa Laval in the United States is seeking a team member to support daily production, follow Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the organization.

The role involves reporting deviations to status boards, engaging in daily status meetings, reviewing SOPs for improvements, driving KAIZEN and 5S activities, cross-training across manufacturing processes, and complying with PPE requirements; the base salary is $23.50/hr.

Qualifications

• High School or GED minimum.
• Crane & Forklift certifications, nice to have.
• Some experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Able to read drawings, blueprints, manufacturing orders etc.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments and execute production per SOPs and blueprints.
• Report deviations to status boards immediately and update the Team Leader/Team Manager.
• Be active in Daily Status Board Meetings by explaining deviations and proposing solutions.
• Review and suggest improvements for the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Look for waste elimination opportunities (time, motion, transportation, inventory) and drive KAIZEN improvements.
• Engage in daily & weekly 5S routines to achieve high 5S standards and sustain it.
