Remington Arms in Lonoke, Arkansas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and routine maintenance on production and support machinery. This role requires working safely and efficiently while following all plant regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in a similar role, and basic computer skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, as well as PTO and 401(k). The starting hourly rate is $24.35.
Performs preventative, routine and minor maintenance on production and support machinery in assigned area(s). Performs changeovers on production machines and associated support equipment as required in a timely manner. Assists Production Associates when required. Follows oral and written instructions, wears protective equipment where and when directed and obeys all plant and safety rules and regulations. Supports the facility's mission, safety and ISO goals and directives and is an active participant of the Remington Team.
10 Hour Day Shift: 4:30am - 3:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with overtime as required.
The work environment includes frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, explosives, vibration, wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold. Eye protection in the form of approved safety glasses with side shields or goggles and approved steel‑toe safety shoes are required. Hearing protection is required in noisy areas. Work assignments may include tasks in potentially hazardous areas such as flammables and explosives.
Starting hourly rate: $24.35. The actual annual salary offered will be based on experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
