Job summary

UW Medical Center-Montlake Anesthesiology Department is seeking an Anesthesiology Technician II for the evening shift in Seattle. The role supports OR physicians, monitors patient vitals, and handles anesthesia equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include an AA in Biomedical Electronics or two years of science-focused education plus electronics experience; EMT/Paramedic background is valued. You will be expected to obtain MA-Phlebotomy certification within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate of Arts Degree in Biomedical Electronics or two years of post-secondary education in sciences with one year of electronics service experience.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except where there are legal requirements (license/certification/registration).
• You must acquire MA-Phlebotomy certification from the State of Washington within the first three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot equipment used for patient care and monitoring related to anesthesia.
• Obtain blood samples and provide blood parameters to medical staff as directed.
• Disinfect anesthesia equipment at appropriate intervals.
• Support Anesthesia Services with related duties as trained.
