Job summary

The UW Medical Center-Montlake Anesthesiology Department seeks an Anesthesiology Technician to support OR physicians, prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and assist with anesthesia equipment. The role includes post-procedure observation and exposure to patients from newborns to adults.

Applicants should have an EMT/Paramedic-like background and must obtain MA-Phlebotomy certification within three months. The position is full-time with evening shifts in Seattle.

Qualifications

• AA degree in biomedical electronics or equivalent sciences training.
• 1 year of electronics service/repair or related experience; OR 2+ years as Anesthesiology Technician I/Paramedic/Lab Tech.
• Equivalent education/experience considered where legally required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot anesthesia-related equipment.
• Obtain blood samples and report parameters to medical staff.
• Disinfect anesthesia equipment and support anesthesia services.
