Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable Direct Care Workers to provide one-on-one support to recipients in their homes across Southeast Michigan. You will assist with daily living skills, encourage participation in personal goals, and help expand community involvement beyond the home.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.

• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to recipients in their homes.

• Help recipients participate in community activities beyond the home.
• Follow care plans and document progress as required.
• Maintain safe and respectful interactions with recipients.

You will be working in our clients homes while supporting, encouraging and helping with skill building activities. You will also be bringing them into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment.
