Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an Admissions and Registration Coordinator to manage non-clinical patient intake, collect demographics and insurance data, and support the clinical team in a fast-paced environment. You will work evening shifts 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, 40 hours weekly, with training during day shift for 6–8 weeks, and must have EPIC Patient Access proficiency.

A high school diploma and at least 2 years in a healthcare setting are required; EPIC scheduling, registration and billing

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
• EPIC applications experience including scheduling, registration, and billing modules.

Responsibilities

• Handle registrations and scheduling for patient encounters.
• Assist with time-of-service collections and obtaining authorizations.
