Job summary

Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Activities Aide to plan and implement engaging activities for residents, including crafts, games, and outings. You will support daily living activities and collaborate with the activities team to create a stimulating program.

The role emphasizes fostering socialization, independence, and overall well-being for adults with diverse needs within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in activities, recreation, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily activities, including crafts, games, outings, and events for diverse residents.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed (mealtime, grooming, mobility).
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and participation.
• Collaborate with the activities team to develop new programs aligned with residents’ needs.
• Promote a positive, respectful environment that encourages socialization and community building.
