Job summary

Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Activities Aide to plan and implement engaging activities for residents, including crafts, games, and outings. You will support daily living activities and collaborate with the activities team to create a stimulating program.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily activities, including crafts, games, outings, and events for diverse residents.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed (mealtime, grooming, mobility).
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and participation.

As an Activities Aide at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by developing and implementing engaging activities, programs, and events. With a focus on adults with diverse needs, you will work closely with our activities team to create a stimulating environment that fosters socialization, independence, and overall well-being.

Activities Aide Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily activities, including crafts, games, outings, and entertainment programs, to cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
• Assist with daily living activities, such as mealtime assistance, grooming, and mobility assistance, as needed
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and participation
• Collaborate with the activities team to develop and implement new programs, ensuring they align with our residents' preferences and needs
• Promote a positive and respectful environment, encouraging socialization and community building among residents
