Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Activities Aide to develop and implement engaging programs for residents. You will plan daily activities, assist with daily living tasks when needed, and maintain attendance records.

Work with the activities team to tailor events to residents' interests and abilities. This full-time role offers a supportive team, opportunities for professional growth, and a schedule from 12pm to 8pm, with a focus on enhancing socialization,

About the Role:

As an Activities Aide at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by developing and implementing engaging activities, programs, and events. With a focus on adults with diverse needs, you will work closely with our activities team to create a stimulating environment that fosters socialization, independence, and overall well‑being.

• Plan and execute daily activities, including crafts, games, outings, and entertainment programs, to cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
• Assist with daily living activities, such as mealtime assistance, grooming, and mobility assistance, as needed
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and participation
• Collaborate with the activities team to develop and implement new programs, ensuring they align with our residents' preferences and needs
• Promote a positive and respectful environment, encouraging socialization and community building among residents
• Prior experience in activities, recreation, or a related field preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Shift schedule: 12pm-8pm
