Job summary

Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services is seeking dependable Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one ABA services to children in client homes and community settings. You will implement evidence-based treatment goals under clinical supervision and help clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

Sessions typically run Monday to Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM with some flexibility; bilingual Spanish-speaking applicants may receive additional compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Active automobile insurance with the applicant listed as a covered driver.
• Current negative TB test.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized, one-on-one ABA services to children.
• Implementing treatment programs and behavior intervention strategies developed by the clinical team.
• Teaching communication, social, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Applying evidence-based ABA strategies to promote learning, independence, and skill development.
• Reducing behaviors that may interfere with safety, learning, or daily functioning.
• Collecting accurate client data throughout each session.
• Completing required session documentation accurately and promptly.
• Communicating effectively with supervising BCBAs and other treatment team members.
• Building positive, professional relationships with clients and families.
• Following all clinical, ethical, safety, and confidentiality requirements.
• Adapting to individual client needs while maintaining consistency with established treatment plans.
