Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Project Engineer based in Frederica, DE to support EVA spacesuit hardware programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across design, fabrication, and testing to deliver spaceflight hardware on schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and strong project management, with experience in hardware development and RCA/CAPA processes. Site-based in Delaware with travel as needed, supporting NASA program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience with EVA spacesuit hardware or aerospace programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EVA spacesuit hardware projects from design release through production and delivery.
• Serve as liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to align on priorities and schedules.
• Support assembly, integration, testing, and verification activities to ensure readiness for build and delivery.
• Lead hardware failure investigations and drive corrective actions across engineering and production.
• Communicate risks and impacts to cost, schedule, or technical performance to program managers and stakeholders.
• Interface with NASA customers to report status and milestones through reviews and meetings.
