Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Project Engineer to support EVA spacesuit hardware programs at the Frederica, DE facility. This role coordinates cross‑functional teams across design, manufacturing, quality and supply chain to deliver flight‑critical hardware on schedule, within scope, and within budget for NASA programs.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and interest in project management, with the ability to read engineering drawings and manage root‑cause analyses and CAPAs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering or product development is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate EVA spacesuit hardware projects from design release through production, integration and delivery.
  • Liaise between engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain to ensure aligned priorities and schedules.
  • Support assembly and integration activities at Frederica site, ensuring readiness for build, test and delivery.
  • Ensure fabrication and production meet schedule and budget constraints.
  • Gather and manage technical and program data to support requirements and build readiness.
  • Lead hardware failure investigations, drive RCA and CAPA across engineering and factory operations.
