Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Project Engineer to support EVA spacesuit hardware programs at our Frederica, DE facility. You will coordinate cross-functional activities, track milestones, and ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget, interfacing with NASA program requirements.

The role requires a engineering degree, strong project-management skills, and experience in manufacturing or product development. Travel up to 25% and site-based work are expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident for access to government program databases.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or product development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EVA spacesuit hardware projects from design release through production, integration, and delivery.
• Serve as liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Support spacesuit assembly and integration activities at the Frederica site.
• Ensure hardware fabrication and production stay on schedule and within budget.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions across engineering and factory operations.
• Communicate risks, issues, and impacts to cost and schedule with program managers.
