Job summary

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is hiring a Senior Program Manager for Zero Emission Vehicles within the Office of Sustainability. You will provide technical and program management support to accelerate zero emission vehicle adoption and charging infrastructure across agency projects.

You will review designs, track progress, and help identify grants and partnerships to advance the ZEV program, reporting to the Senior Program Manager and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Project Management, Energy Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management, design, or construction experience related to electric vehicle charging projects, electrical infrastructure, or related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, zero emission vehicles, EV charging infrastructure, or utility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Technical oversight for EV charging infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with sustainability goals and codes/standards.
• Track and report on project milestones, changes, scope, and budget impacts throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor and synthesize policy, market, incentives, and technology developments to inform planning and decision-making.
