NYSERDA seeks an experienced, independent, and self-motivated individual to join its Clean Transportation team as an Assistant Project ManagerorProject Manager to help lead the design and delivery of innovative programs that advance the adoption of transportation electrification in New York State, working in close partnership with both public sector and private sector partners.
The successful candidate will work with the Clean Transportation team to help lead a portfolio of programs and initiatives. This position will focus its work on expanding and accelerating electric vehicle charging installations across New York State.

This position requires someone with a background in project and program management and execution, ideally with a focus on energy and/or transportation electrification, and experience working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders. The ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projects while paying close attention to details and working independently is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven interpersonal skills with a track record of establishing relationships and forging new ones when needed. The candidate will ideally demonstrate a solid understanding of electric vehicles and EV charging stations. An ideal candidate will have the range and ability to successfully work with a wide range of stakeholders such as market players, regulators, sister agencies, State officials and local governments.
The person who fills the position will be expected to travel approximately 5-10% of professionally committed time to meet with team members, project partners, and stakeholders.
