Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an experienced EV technician in Dallas, TX to advance skills in high‑voltage systems, diagnostics, and calibration. You will work on complex vehicle systems, perform software updates, and verify functionality post-maintenance.

The role emphasizes safety, OEM procedures, and the ability to work on site in a fast‑paced mobility initiative. Relocation assistance may be provided for internal hires.

Qualifications

• ASE xEV Level 1 and Level 2 certifications required.
• Experience with high-voltage diagnostics, module replacement, and advanced system troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of EV safety protocols and software-driven diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems and vehicle components.
• Diagnose, repair high-voltage and safety systems with lockout/tagout procedures.
• Perform firmware updates and verify post-update functionality.
• Calibrate systems and support ADAS calibration per OEM procedures.
• Verify post-repair vehicle readiness through functional testing.
