Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking an Automotive EV Technical Support Specialist (Customer Care Specialist) in Southfield, MI. This role focuses on delivering exceptional technical assistance for Lucid vehicle hardware and software, with a customer‑first mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.

The position supports weekend availability, with part‑time shifts on weekdays and full 8‑hour Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and technical comprehension skills.
Detail‑oriented, precise, and able to work in a high‑volume, high‑touch environment.
Familiar with CRM systems and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Handle customer support cases via Phone, Email, SMS and Chat.
Respond to customer concerns with urgency and ownership for resolutions.
Update knowledge base with tech tips and brief documents.
Evaluate troubleshooting processes and assess compatibility with existing systems.
Improve existing processes and recommend enhancements.
Test system functionality to ensure vehicle components work optimally.
Build and maintain customer relationships with empathy and product knowledge.
Protect data integrity and privacy by using systems securely.
