Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. in Garden Grove, CA, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to define and drive supplier quality for safety systems, frames, and thermal components across the EV platform.

You will implement QMS processes, lead supplier audits, and collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing. The role requires 3–7 years in automotive or EV quality, knowledge of APQP/PPAP, ISO/IATF standards, and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Manufacturing Engineering or similar technical field.
• 3–7 years in manufacturing quality or supplier quality in automotive/EV/aerospace.
• Hands‑on experience with structural frames, thermal systems, or occupant safety components.
• ASQ CQE/CQA/CQM or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2018 or IATF 16949.
• Familiarity with QMS, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality standards for chassis/frame structures and thermal systems.
• Inspect materials, sub-assemblies, and finished components for safety and performance.
• Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with automotive standards.
• Lead weekly supplier calls and track quality metrics and CAPA actions.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing during DFMEA/PFMEA reviews.
