Job summary

VINFAST is seeking an EE Commissioning Lead Engineer in Irvine, CA to manage software updates and configuration for test vehicles. The role involves hands-on work with diagnostic tools, vehicle networks and update systems to ensure software readiness for CTF, validation and ADAS testing.

You will verify versions, perform health checks and troubleshoot update failures, while maintaining detailed records and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics and ECU programming.
• Experience with vehicle software updates and electrical/electronic systems.
• Familiarity with CAN or similar automotive networks.
• Ability to read diagnostics and software version data, and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Perform software updates, flashing, reprogramming and configuration for VinFast test vehicles.
• Update ECUs/ECMs using approved diagnostic tools and perform OTA updates as required.
• Prepare vehicles with required software baseline before testing and validation.
• Verify software versions and configurations before and after updates; document results.
