Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III to lead design, development and testing of EV software. You will work with cross-functional teams and international partners to ensure software reliability, security and performance in EV control systems.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers, maintaining clean code, and aligning with ISO26262 and other safety standards while collaborating across engineering, manufacturing and service teams in Riverside, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field; equivalent education or experience considered.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Simulink/Stateflow and data logging tools like CANalyzer.
• Proven track record troubleshooting complex vehicle software systems and EV controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage EV software requirements and specifications.
• Design and implement software systems and components using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Develop and execute testing and diagnostics for EV software products.
• Troubleshoot software issues in vehicle systems and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot new technologies.
• Mentor junior developers and support system configuration, installation and training.
