Insight Global is seeking an experienced Service Technician for a luxury electric vehicle manufacturer in New Jersey. The role combines in-shop and mobile service, focusing on diagnosing and repairing advanced EV systems and powertrains with strong customer service skills.

The position requires 2–5 years of automotive experience, EV/HEV diagnostics, and ESL certifications such as EPA 609. Training and ASE certifications are provided after hire to support growth.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of experience as automotive service technician.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electric or hybrid vehicles.
• Knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage EV systems.
• Willingness to obtain ASE certifications within 6–8 months of hire.
• EPA Section 609 certification is required.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in EVs and HEVs.
• Maintain knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
• Perform maintenance on electric vehicle powertrains and components.
• Document concerns, causes, and repairs.
• Use service software and diagnostic tools to record interactions.
• Communicate with service advisors, managers, technicians, and customers.
• Share knowledge and guide teammates as needed.
• Follow safety, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Deliver high-quality customer experiences with attention to detail.
• Support mobile service operations as needed.
