Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Service Technician for 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm) to diagnose, maintain, and repair the company’s vehicles. ASE certifications are expected within 6–8 months with reimbursement by Lucid.

You will work with HV/LV systems, EV powertrains, and service software to document work and interact with customers. A valid driver’s license and strong communication are required, with remote support for mobile service as needed.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems and electric vehicle powertrains.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers.

Responsibilities

Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis.
Maintain knowledge of High/Low Voltage systems and EV powertrains.
Follow repair order documentation procedures (The Three C's).
Document all customer vehicle interactions using the office/DMS software suite.
Communicate effectively with service team and customers.
Demonstrate and teach learned technical skills to others.
Show attention to detail and commitment to positive customer experiences.
Support remote/mobile service as needed.
