Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Electric Vehicle Service Technician to join our Sherman location. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing EV systems, batteries, drivetrains, and charging components, with emphasis on safety and high‑voltage procedures.

Responsibilities include inspections, maintenance, and using OEM software to troubleshoot and document work in the dealership DMS. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in automotive/EV tech and ASE EV certifications are highly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school certification preferred.
• ASE certifications and EV certifications are highly desirable.
• 2+ years of automotive or EV technician experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of high‑voltage safety procedures and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair EV systems, including batteries, drivetrains, and charging components.
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance on EV and hybrid vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer software to troubleshoot issues.
• Document repairs, parts used, and work performed in the DMS.
• Stay updated on EV technology, safety protocols, and certifications.
