Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking a Quality Supervisor EDU/Battery/MRB for the 1st shift to lead the QA team in an automotive manufacturing setting in Garden Grove, CA.

You will drive adherence to Harbinger standards, mentor inspectors, and coordinate root-cause analysis with engineering and production. The role requires 3–5 years in QA with 1–2 years in leadership, strong QMS and Google Workspace skills, and a proven ability to make rapid, data-driven decisions in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance/control within an automotive manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS) software and Google Workspace.
• Ability to thrive and make rapid, data-driven decisions in a high-pressure automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors and technicians; manage shift schedules and performance reviews.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure manufacturing processes and finished products meet internal standards and external regulations.
• Defect Management: Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality deviations.
• Audit Support: Conduct internal quality audits and assist with external audits.
• Data & Reporting: Track KPIs (MRB rates, defect rates, first-pass yield) and prepare quality reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineering/production to reduce waste and improve product consistency using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
