Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer for Low Voltage and ADAS to assure LV components, wiring harnesses, cameras and radars meet quality standards. You will liaise with suppliers, engineering and production to drive quality initiatives and maintain PPAP/FAI.

A strong background in automotive supplier quality and APQP is required. The role requires collaboration on supplier audits, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement, with potential domestic/international

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or similar technical field.
3 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing quality or supplier quality in automotive/aerospace or equivalent.
Knowledge of LV harnesses, PCBA, cameras, radars and electromechanical assemblies.
IPC 600, IPC-610, IPC-620, USCAR knowledge.
ASQ Certifications (Engineer, Auditor, Manager) preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards.
Conduct supplier audits (process, product, system) to assess and qualify suppliers.
Develop and implement supplier performance metrics (defect rates, response times, improvements).
Develop corrective and preventive actions with suppliers for nonconformances.
Establish supplier processes for LV wiring harness, box builds, cameras and radars; include PPAP/FAI.
