Job summary

Harbinger in California is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead a team of inspectors and technicians on the production floor, ensuring products meet Harbinger standards and regulatory requirements. You will bridge floor-level inspections with quality strategy, drive continuous improvement, and manage KPIs such as MRB rates and first-pass yield.

You will supervise shift 2 (4:30pm–1:00am), mentor staff, conduct reviews, and collaborate with engineering and production to implement Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance/control within an automotive manufacturing environment.
• 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proficiency with Quality Management Systems (QMS) software and Google Workspace.
• Ability to halt production lines or shipments if quality or safety protocols are compromised.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure processes and products meet internal standards and external regulations.
• Defect Management: Lead investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Audit Support: Conduct internal quality audits and assist with external audits.
• Data & Reporting: Track KPIs like MRB rates and first-pass yield; prepare reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production to reduce waste via Lean/Six Sigma.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
