Job summary

General Motors is seeking an experienced leader to drive end-to-end execution of the EV Software & Electronics Platform in a demanding, cross-functional environment. You will translate roadmaps into executable work with clear owners, timing, dependencies, and exit criteria, coordinating software and hardware deliverables across platform features and ECUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years leading complex cross-functional engineering or vehicle-program execution.
• Experience integrating software and electronics across vehicle systems.
• Experience managing dependencies, milestones, risks, and escalations.
• Ability to lead through influence across multiple organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel less than 25%.
• Master’s degree preferred; 10+ years preferred for senior track.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution for EV software & electronics platform.
• Own integrated execution plans from requirements to launch readiness.
• Coordinate software and hardware delivery across ECUs and vehicle interfaces.
• Align platform commitments with development milestones and risk plans.
• Lead resolution of complex platform issues and drive escalation forums.
• Represent platform readiness in senior reviews and governance forums.
