Job summary

Astemo Ltd. seeks a Motor Production Engineer for the xEV Regional Production Engineering group. You will establish specifications, equipment and processes for electric motor programs and oversee new manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on uptime, reliability and mass production readiness.

You will work with process, design, quality, maintenance and production teams to implement best practices and drive cost-effective solutions across programs.

Qualifications

• This role requires broad engineering skills across mechanical design, automation, control systems, robotics, pneumatics, optical inspection and manufacturing processes.
• Candidate should be able to lead and mentor engineers and technicians, make data-driven decisions, and manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and independence are essential, with adherence to ethics and fairness.

Responsibilities

• Develop specifications, equipment, processes and documentation for electric motor programs.
• Oversee development, acquisition and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure equipment achieves world-class uptime, reliability and mass production qualification.
• Collaborate with process, design, quality, maintenance and production teams to drive cost-effective solutions.
