Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. seeks a Motor Production Engineer to support xEV programs for electric motor production. You will establish specs, equipment and processes, oversee new line installations, and drive uptime and reliability for mass production, collaborating across engineering, QA, maintenance and production teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience, a technical engineering degree, and hands-on project leadership. Domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Broad engineering skills across mechanical design, automation, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong data-driven decisions and structured problem solving.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers and technicians.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish specifications, equipment, and processes for electric motor programs.
• Oversee development, acquisition, and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure equipment achieves world-class uptime and reliability for mass production.
• Verify that projects are completed on schedule and meet customer specs.
• Collaborate with process, design, quality, maintenance, and production teams.
