Job summary

Rivian is seeking student interns to support the Electric Motor Team through design, testing, data collection, and reporting. Eligible candidates are undergraduates or graduates with an expected graduation between December 2027 and 2029. The program runs Spring Co-op Jan-Aug 2027, and no visa sponsorship is provided.

Interns will assist engineers, build and test components, and help interpret results for future program improvements. Rivian is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD at an accredited university.
• Active student enrollment required during the internship term.
• Hands-on lab experience and basic CAD skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Support Mentor and other Engineers on variety tasks.
• Support lab to build, fix, test component, subsystem or system.
• Perform test, collect data, generate report, explain findings and propose improvements.
