Job summary

Harbinger is seeking an MBOM Specialist to own downstream transformation of manufacturing data across design, supply chain, and manufacturing. You will maintain large, configurable MBOM structures, map design intent to shop-floor execution, and ensure accurate variant configurations for serial production.

The role requires 3+ years in automotive data/configuration, deep PLM knowledge (3DEXPERIENCE or Teamcenter), and NetSuite ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

3+ years in automotive manufacturing data/configuration management.
Proficient in 3DEXPERIENCE or Teamcenter for configuration control.
Experience with NetSuite ERP for inventory/master data/production routing.
Deep understanding of option rules, variants, dependencies, and effectivity dates.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Systems/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Manage multi-variant MBOM structures and option-codes for diverse bases and powertrain setups.
Drive EBOM-to-MBOM translations and define plant consumption points and line-side stocking rules.
Implement and monitor Evolution and Variant effectivity with VIN configurations.
Audit BOM data, run discrepancy reports, and provide feedback to design/manufacturing teams.
Lead ECO/MCO/PCO governance and assess impact on inventory/work instructions.
Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, and QA to ensure data alignment across systems.
