Job summary

Harbinger Motors seeks a Maintenance Control Engineer to support our EV manufacturing lines, bridging automation, controls, SCADA, and MES integration to maximize uptime. You will work with Equipment Engineers, MEs, Production, and external suppliers to resolve failures and execute line upgrades.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in controls/automation, with Ignition SCADA and MES experience, and are comfortable collaborating across engineering disciplines and time zones.

Qualifications

3–5 years in controls, automation, or maintenance engineering within automated manufacturing.
Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation).
Direct experience integrating industrial machinery with MES platforms.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and safety controllers.
Develop and maintain Ignition SCADA screens, alarm pipelines, and interfaces.
Support data integration between machine controls and MES.
Diagnose and resolve industrial network issues (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, OPC-UA, Modbus, CAN).
Update electrical schematics, control loop diagrams, and P&IDs.
