Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a senior project leader to drive energy, facilities, and decarbonization programs for public-sector and higher-education clients. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams through all phases from planning to commissioning, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of experience delivering energy, facilities, infrastructure, or decarbonization projects.
• Demonstrated experience with HVAC systems and controls, lighting and building energy efficiency, solar PV, battery energy storage systems, EV charging, and interconnection.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor and project manager for energy, infrastructure, and decarbonization projects across higher education, K-12, municipal, and public-sector clients.
• Lead delivery of complex technical projects involving HVAC systems, building controls, lighting upgrades, solar PV, BESS, EV charging, microgrids, and interconnection.
• Collaborate with client facilities, operations, sustainability, and executive leadership to understand needs and communicate progress.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and consulting teams through all phases from planning to commissioning.
• Support technical evaluations, site assessments, energy audits, feasibility studies, and capital project planning.
• Review engineering studies, design documents, and regulatory requirements to identify risks and opportunities.
• Assist clients in navigating utility programs, interconnection processes, and incentive opportunities.
• Develop project management plans, schedules, risk logs, and stakeholder communication strategies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and workshops to clients from facility staff to governing boards.
• Mentor junior staff while growing technical and consulting expertise.
• Contribute to proposal development, scope creation, and business development as part of seller-doer model.
