Job summary

SWTCH Energy Inc. is seeking a Sales Development Representative to scale our US East region. You will partner with the Business Development team to identify and nurture direct sales and channel partnerships, helping to build a stronger presence for SWTCH across North America.

You will work in a lean, mission-driven team, focus on understanding our products, target markets, and competitive landscape, and play a key role in achieving milestones and quarterly targets.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree required.
• 2–3 years in sales, business development, or customer management.
• Experience in real estate, transportation, or energy industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads outbound initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects
• Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads, and follow through to a successful agreement
• Understand the target markets, including industry, public policy, regional programs, companies, projects, and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure that milestones are achieved
• Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry, and positioning
• Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape
• Maintain customer activity in the CRM platform
