Job summary

InCharge Energy in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Proposal and Grant Specialist to join the Grants, Opportunities, and Public Affairs team. This role focuses on researching, writing, and coordinating funding applications (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) and managing awarded opportunities.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, EPC, and C‑Suite leaders to translate complex information into persuasive narratives, establish development standards, and ensure compliance with grant and procurement requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in proposals, grant writing, and working with government or NGO agencies.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, write, and review RFP, RFI, and RFQ submissions, including presenting recommendations to leadership.
• Lead the development of compelling content, synthesizing complex information into compelling narratives that support InCharge Energy’s capabilities.
• Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders.
• Establish systems and standards for grant and proposal development and submission processes.
• Draft and coordinate infrastructure project proposals for opportunities, integrating input from operations, product development, engineering/construction, and customers.
• Track proposal success rates, analyze feedback, and implement continuous improvements to enhance proposal effectiveness.
• Ensure legal, licensing, and project management compliance with RFX, grant, and procurement requirements.
• Support contract coordination, deadline management, and project administration.
