Job summary

ETS seeks a Manager, Research Proposal Development to support the Research Institute and ETS Strategic Research Alliances. You will drive pre‑award activities, coordinate proposal teams, and develop budgets and narratives to align with funder requirements.

You will manage an annual pipeline of 40–60 proposals, maintain records in Salesforce, and help translate research priorities into compelling, fundable initiatives while partnering with researchers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years directly relevant experience.
• Strong writing and editing skills for proposal content and budgets.
• Experience with federal funding proposals and sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess funding opportunities and share with researchers for proposal development.
• Manage a multi‑million dollar pipeline of externally funded research proposals.
• Coordinate pre‑award activities from planning to submission and award handoff.
• Develop budgets and budget narratives in collaboration with Finance and researchers.
• Ensure compliance with funder requirements and ETS policies.
